Pteris umbrosa (Jungle brake fern)
The Pteris umbrosa is native to Eastern Australia and is commonly called the Jungle Brake Fern. As it is a native Australian fern it is not commonly found all over the world and unique to Australia. The Jungle Brake Fern has medium green arching fronds which are lobed and long. The Jungle Brake Fern typically grows in a clumping/bushy way. Position your Jungle Break Fern in a shaded/semi shaded position in your garden or home. Just remember like most ferns they don’t like direct sunlight. They prefer a well-draining soil and moderate water. Adjust watering for the cooler and warmer months
